Anyone who knows me knows that I work hard to keep my personal and professional lives in balance. While this is essential for living a healthy, happy life, it's also essential to my teaching. If I am going to expect students to love to read and write, I need for them to know me as a reader and writer. For me to model being a reader and writer, I must create a life outside the classroom that includes an array of literate experiences. Here, I give you a glimpse of my life as a reader and writer.
